HIGH COAST TRAIL
COAST TO SUMMITS 26k
Friday 6th September 2024
Maximum time: 7 hours
We are updating the previous Twin Peaks trail with a new route and an additional mountain – Stampberget – with dramatic views. Since this distance offers much more than just majestic peaks, we are also changing the name to Coast to Summits.
As the new trails are not yet fully marked, we will have to provide the exact distance later, but expect it to be around 26 km. The maximum time is 7 hours, giving you plenty of time. This is the race for those who want to experience some of the absolute highlights of the World Heritage Site while facing a serious challenge.
BEAUTIFUL NATURE
We will journey through some of the absolute highlights of the World Heritage Site – you have 6 hours to complete it.
COMMUNITY
We use a rolling start to reduce the competitive energy, and along the trail, there’s a very nice atmosphere.
INSPIRATION
Both Haglöfs and Icebug are present to share tips and tell more about equipment that enhances the experience.
THE CHEER
Along the trail, companions stand by, and as you approach the finish line, you will receive new energy.
NICE HANGOUT
An equally large part of the adventure is hanging out in FriluftsByn with friends and like-minded people. Many arrive several days in advance.
AFTER-TRAIL
On Friday, we kick off the weekend with the first After-Trail for Summits, and 4Peaks usually keeps the vibe going. Also, don’t miss out on Saturday’s celebration.
ABOUT HIGH COAST TRAIL
COAST TO SUMMITS 26k
High Coast Trail Coast to Summits is a new route that has great similarities to the previous Twin Peaks, but now we venture up Mount Stampberget and into the western part of the National Park in addition to Slåttdalsberget and Skuleberget.
This is an incredibly beautiful race that begins with a course briefing and tips on Friday morning. The race starts after lunch, and once back, we kick off the first After-Trail of the weekend on Friday evening. Expect stunning scenery, a great atmosphere, lots of laughter, some swearing, and memories to cherish.
Before the release of the starting slots on March 8th, we will add a trail description, but the map above provides an indication.
