HIGH COAST TRAIL

SUSTAINABILITY ON THE TRAILS

– An experience with care!

The High Coast Trail is more than an experience, it’s a celebration of nature, community, and sustainability. Since the beginning, we’ve had a strong focus on creating an event that delivers an amazing running experience while minimizing impact and being appreciated by the local community.

1. Experience & Preserve

– A nature experience with care »

We want to inspire people to explore and enjoy nature with respect. By sticking to marked trails, checking and maintaining the routes before and after the event, and contributing funds for upkeep and maintenance, we help create a unique experience while protecting the long-term health of the trails.

2. Development & Community

– The locals that makes it possible »

The High Coast Trail is made possible thanks to the strong local engagement, from landowners to businesses contributing their services to create a truly unique experience. Together, we strengthen the identity of the region and contribute to its positive development.

3. Sustainable transportation

– Carpooling and buses

We create opportunities for carpooling to the High Coast and also offer buses from nearby train stations. Once on site, we have around ten buses transporting participants to the start of their experiences.

4. Sustainable material choices

– A responsability that makes the difference

Sustainability runs through all our material choices, from reusable cups and biodegradable materials to reusing event signage. We aim to make conscious decisions that reduce waste and environmental impact.

5. Public Health & Love for Nature

– Well-being and greater awareness.

The High Coast Trail aims to strengthen both physical and mental health through movement in nature. We also believe that the more people experience the beauty of nature, the stronger the desire becomes to protect it.
