Summer 2026 marks the premiere of the Ultimate 60K. Many have been asking to experience even more of the High Coast’s epic landscapes, and this is the answer.
The first 42K follow the same route as the Original 45K, then you head out onto the Haglöfs Loop (15K) before rejoining the Original course and pushing all the way up to the finish at the top of the World Heritage Site.
In May, once the snow has cleared, we’ll head out to finalize the exact route for the extra loop.
Once you’re here, you understand why people come from all over Europe—and why you’ll want to come back.
This is an absolutely incredible way to experience one of Sweden’s most beautiful natural areas.
This is a real challenge, and it’s clear why it’s considered one of Sweden’s most demanding, fun, and beautiful trail races.

Out on the course, we’ll cross paths twice and get the chance to cheer each other on, and then there’s the finish line atmosphere.

A big part of the adventure is just hanging out in Friluftsbyn with new friends and like-minded people. Many arrive a few days early to soak it all in.

On Friday, we kick off the weekend with the first After-Trail. On Saturday, the celebration continues.

– The Ultimate 60k
A brand new race for summer 2026, where you follow the Original 45K course almost all the way to the finish, but with a challenging twist. After 42K, you branch off onto the Haglöfs Loop (15K), a scenic loop starting and finishing in Friluftsbyn. Then it’s back onto the Original course to finish strong, all the way up to the top of the World Heritage Site.
We gather already on Friday evening for a shared briefing, going through everything you need to know ahead of Saturday’s race. On Saturday morning, buses take you to the start, and along the course you’ll have support from both crew and aid stations all the way.
On Saturday evening, we wrap up the adventure together at the After-Trail, celebrating what we’ve accomplished and sharing the day’s experiences.
