AFTER-TRAIL
A big part of the experience is celebrating our achievements together. We kick off with a troubadour and a fantastic atmosphere already on Friday evening when 3Peaks 15k and Coast to Summits 26k cross the finish line in FriluftsByn.
On Saturday, the celebration often starts at the finish line on the Top, then transitions into a big party with live bands in FriluftsByn where all participants – regardless of the race – usually celebrate together.
FRIDAY: FINISH + AFTER-TRAIL 17:00-22:00
The races on Friday finish in FriluftsByn, and you’ll head straight to the After-Trail celebration in the courtyard. Live music, great food, and drinks at the bar.
SATURDAY: FINISH AT THE TOP
High Coast Trail Original finishes at the top of the World Heritage Site, and many people usually head there to cheer on participants. Between approx. 12:00 and 16:00, it’s usually bustling at the top!
SATURDAY: AFTER-TRAIL 17:00 – 23:00
Now it’s really kicking off. All races are finished, resulting in a fantastic party among all participants, companions, and the organizing team.
FRIDAY
On Friday, participants in the Summit 15k and Coast to Summits 26k races cross the finish line in FriluftsByn, while participants in The Original 45k receive race instructions. This means that over a thousand people are on the premises. Some are experiencing a total runner’s high from today’s achievement, while others are nervously anticipating Saturday’s race. It creates an incredibly festive atmosphere, and of course, you are there.

The Friday distances – 3Peaks 15k and Coast to Summits 26k – finish directly at FriluftsByn. You’ll definitely get a boost of energy as you approach the finish line.

A troubadour on stage, the grills are fired up, and the bar is open. Time to share experiences with each other – Wow, we did a great job!
SATURDAY
On Friday, participants in the 3Peaks 15k and Coast to Summits 26k finish in FriluftsByn, while participants in The Original 45k have a race briefing. This means that over a thousand people are on the premises. Some are experiencing a total runners’ high from today’s accomplishment, while others are nervously anticipating Saturday’s race. It creates an incredibly enjoyable atmosphere, and of course, you’re there.

FINISH AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD HERITAGE
On Saturday, participants in The Original 45k reach the finish line at the top of the World Heritage Site, right next to Mount Skuleberget’s Top Cabin, where the celebration often begins.

AFTER-TRAIL
On Saturday evening, it’s time for participants in all distances, companions, organizers, and partners to celebrate our achievements together.

You absolutely don’t want to miss Saturday’s After-Trail celebration. If you’re staying at one of our partner hotels, buses will take you to the start and back in the evening so you can join in celebrating your achievement.
