This is a wonderful experience – community, exercise, and beautiful nature.

& CHILL HANGOUT

High Coast Trail Camp is much more than just beautiful views. We receive tips on how to improve our technique, but there’s also plenty of time to relax and hang out.

Friday

PER OLSBO
& FÄBERGET

On our first day of the Trail Camp, we immediately head out to one of High Coast’s most epic viewpoints – Fäberget. We gather initially at FriluftsByn and then set off for our adventure, either in our own cars or carpooling to Vibyggerå Old Church. There, we start the afternoon by refining our running technique before embarking along the breathtaking High Coast track with our sights set on the summit of Per Olsbo. We then continue to the majestic Fäberget, pausing occasionally to deepen our knowledge of running technique together.

Once you feel satisfied with taking in all the fantastic views that Fäberget has to offer, it’s time to calmly and leisurely make your way back to Vibyggerå Old Church and the parking area, at your own pace, allowing the experience to sink in.

Back at FriluftsByn, a bit of refreshments await, and of course, the bar is open. We’ll freshen up and reconvene for dinner in Restaurant Vardagsrummet.

FRIDAY SCHEDULE

from 12:30: Arrival and check-in
13:30: Welcome meeting with coffee break

The first peak we reach is Per Olsbo Peak.

Of course, there’s time to stop and take photos.

Per Olsbo is part of the ”High Coast 5 Peaks”.

Fäberget is one of the most dramatic viewpoint mountains in the High Coast. It’s about 4.5 kilometers from today’s starting point.

From Fäberget, we make our way back to the cars at our own pace. Then we head back to FriluftsByn. If anyone wants to go for an extra run, Herrestaberget offers a perfect 3-kilometer route starting from FriluftsByn.

We will climb together to the top of Fäberget. Then, it’s free pace back along the well-marked High Coast track.

”That feels great,” says the body. Cheers to that. When we’re back in FriluftsByn, there’s energy replenishment waiting, and the bar is open.

We light the fires, chill out, and take a shower when the mood strikes. There’s no rush.

In the evening, we gather in Restaurant Vardagsrummet for dinner and to share experiences. Some look forward to bedtime and wrap up early, while others hang around until around ten o’clock.

After dinner, those who wish can listen to a lecture by the Backa Brothers, who will share tips and thoughts about training.
