Experience a colorful autumn weekend in the High Coast with highlights of the World Heritage Site, running techniques, and community. The weekend is suitable for all running levels as we occasionally divide into three groups with varying challenges but also take breaks to enjoy the beautiful nature. Come along and recharge with new energy and relaxed hangouts.
TRAIL-CAMP AUTUMN: SPECTACULAR NATURE
FRIDAY
Friday and we dive straight into the highlights of the High Coast. From FriluftsByn, we head together towards Getsvedjeberget and up to the Pulpit Rock with spectacular views. Then we return to FriluftsByn. For those with more energy, you can head up to Herrestaberget directly south of Skuleberget.

OVERVIEW
After check-in, we gather dressed and ready in the courtyard of FriluftsByn for an overview of the weekend.
TECHNIQUE TRAINING
We head towards Getsvedjeberget together and pause occasionally for technique training.
GETSVEDJEBERGET
Getsvedjeberget is located directly east of Skuleberget. It is 3 kilometers from FriluftsByn to the top.
THE PULPIT ROCK
At the top, you will find Höga Kusten’s own ’Pulpit’ where we will of course stop to take photos.
Friday is a combination of technique training and experiential running. All three groups head up to the top of Getsvedjeberget. Those who still have energy when we return to FriluftsByn can aim for Herrestaberget.
YOU WANT MORE?
After returning from Getsvedjeberget, for those with extra energy, we can head towards Herrestaberget, which is located on the other side of the lake, directly south of FriluftsByn.
HERRESTABERGET
From FriluftsByn to the top of Herrestaberget, it’s about 1.5 kilometers. The final stretch is steep, but you can handle it.

SATURDAY
On Saturday, we embark on a full day in the magnificent Skuleskogen National Park. We take our own cars or carpool to Entrance South and divide into three groups before setting out. We gather for a lunch at the beautiful Tärnättvattnet before heading out again to experience some of the highlights of the National Park.

TÄRNÄTTHOLMARNA
All groups will experience a combination of coast, enchanted forest, and majestic mountains.
THE COASTAL MOUNTAINS
The first weeks of October are when the colors are at their peak.
TÄRNÄTTVATTNET
Tärnättvattnet is located in the middle of the National Park, where we all gather for lunch.
SLÅTTDALSSKREVAN
The recommendation is not to pass through, but we will enter a bit before the barriers.
Saturday will be absolutely stunning as we venture to the highlights of Skuleskogen National Park. We divide into three groups but come together for a shared lunch where you also have the opportunity to switch groups if you want to take it easier or pick up the pace.
SLÅTTDALSBERGET
Make sure you have battery left in your mobile phone for Slåttdalsberget. Alternatively, bring a power bank because we’re talking views.
SWITCHING GROUP
We head out in three groups, but you can switch groups during lunch based on how you feel and your energy level.
PHOTO BREAKS
Certainly, there’s time for that. Group 3 takes a few more breaks than Group 1, and Group 2 is somewhere in between.

SUNDAY
Sunday begins with technique training at Gällstasjön below FriluftsByn. Then we head up towards the summit of the World Heritage Site. We have lunch at the Top Cabin, conclude a wonderful weekend, and say farewell until next time.

TECHNIQUE TRAINING
After breakfast, we ensure a softer start and focus a bit on technique.
THE HIGH COAST TRACK
Then we aim for the summit of the High Coast World Heritage Site.
On Sunday, we start off gently by waking up our bodies and practicing some techniques. Then we head towards the summit of the High Coast World Heritage Site and conclude with lunch at the Top Cabin with some of Sweden’s most beautiful views.
A BIT MORE TECHNIQUE
On our way up to the summit, we’ll have the opportunity to do some final exercises for running downhill.
MOUNT SKULEBERGET’S TOP
We conclude at the summit of the World Heritage Site with some of Sweden’s most magnificent views. If you’re first to reach the top, you can take a lap along the Kalott trail.
THE TOP CABIN
We wrap up the weekend with lunch at the Top Cabin. After that, it’s free to make your way back down to FriluftsByn.

Experience the World Heritage Site when the autumn colors are at their peak, join us on beautiful tours combined with relaxing hangouts in FriluftsByn. Since we divide into three groups, there's the opportunity to tailor activities based on how you feel each day.
The High Coast Trail Camp in Spring suits both experienced and beginner participants. Together, we will experience the World Heritage Site of the High Coast, listen to interesting seminars, and receive tips to become better runners. Some come with partners or friends - others come alone for the wonderful community.
MORE RUNNING EXPERIENCES IN THE HIGH COAST WORLD HERITAGE SITE
The High Coast Trail Camp is a perfect way to prepare for the High Coast Trail or for those who want to experience a wonderful weekend in the World Heritage Site together with others. The camps are divided into three groups and suit most people.
