For whom? Beginners & Experienced runners
”High Coast Trail Camps are a perfect way to experience the World Heritage Site in a fantastic community.”
Jerry Engström
”We divide ourselves into three groups – running, jogging, and jog-fast walking, allowing most people to join and become better trail runners.”
David Backa
”There are leaders at the front and back of each group. This allows you to fully focus on the experience, whether you’re running or jogging.”
Joel Backa
HIGH COAST TRAIL-CAMP – SPRING >>
17-19 May 2024. Spring is here, and of course, you should join us to explore the highlights of the World Heritage Site. Skuleberget, Skuleskogen, and Fäberget. In the evenings, we hang out in the lovely FriluftsByn.
HIGH COAST TRAIL-CAMP – AUTUMN >>
4-6 October 2024. Autumn is here, and the colors are more vibrant than ever. Bring your headlamp, and let’s go on an adventure. When we return, campfires and cozy hangouts await us in FriluftsByn.
During the camps, we are sometimes gathered together, while at other times, we divide into three groups based on how we want to combine running, jogging, and brisk walking, as well as how many and how long breaks we want to take. We have a chat with group 3, where we combine running tips, magnificent views, jogging, and brisk walking.
EXPERIENCE THE WORLD HERITAGE SITE
During the High Coast Trail Camps, we venture out to the absolute highlights of the World Heritage Site. Both camps head up to Skuleberget and Skuleskogen National Park, while the spring camp also ascends Fäberget, and the autumn camp heads up to Getsvedjeberget.
FANTASTIC COMMUNITY
A significant part of the camp is the community. There’s something special about venturing out together and then sitting down by the campfires with something delicious, summarizing all the impressions.
CAMPS FOR EVERYONE
We divide ourselves into three groups – experienced, intermediate, and beginners. If you can jog 5 kilometers, beginners are a perfect start as we do a combination of jogging and brisk walking. You can switch groups both in the morning and during lunch, so you get an experience that suits you perfectly.
COURSES & SEMINARS
During the adventure, David and Joel Backa, ambassadors for Icebug, will share tips that will enhance both your experience and running. Jerry Engström will also share some tips for those who want to realize something they have been dreaming about.
MORE RUNNING EXPERIENCES IN THE HIGH COAST WORLD HERITAGE SITE
