REGISTRATION AUTUMN-CAMP >>

PROGRAM >>

We’ve put together a camp where we combine breathtakingly beautiful nature with running sessions and enjoyable community.

Jerry, FriluftsByn

We will share plenty of tips that suits both experienced runners and beginners.

Joel & David, Ledare

We enjoyed delicious food and had massive laughs. Joy and community are words that beautifully encapsulate the camp.

Annika Hägglund

Absolutely stunning nature and dedicated leaders who coach, motivate, and create a great atmosphere.

Håkan Sandberg

Here’s how it works: Jerry takes a break and explains a bit about how it works. But it’s not so tricky – we split into three groups, experience incredibly beautiful nature, and practice running before returning for a lovely hangout in FriluftsByn.

Even though we divide into groups, we meet up with the other groups on several occasions where we do joint exercises before continuing out into the World Heritage Site. Many come alone, but if you come with a friend, you can be in different groups and still meet up during the day.

Join Group 3 where we combine light jogging with brisk walking up the mountains. Group 1 is running and Group 2 is jogging. You can switch groups during the day as we gather all groups at different times.

EXPERIENCE THE HIGH COAST

In three groups, we embark on four tours to enjoy the absolute highlights of the High Coast.

BECOME A BETTER RUNNER

Sweden’s most inspiring running profiles are present – Joel and David Backa, ambassadors for Icebug.

COZY HANGOUT

Campfire hangouts at the courtyard, coffee breaks at Top Cabin, and dinner at Restaurant Vardagsrummet.

TRY ON CLOTHES & SHOES

During the weekend, you have the opportunity to borrow and try on shoes from Icebug.

RELAX

You can choose to attend lectures or relax between experiences.

GET TO KNOW LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE

Some are experienced, others are beginners. Sometimes you meet at future races or at the next camp.

We divide into three groups but venture out together and meet up occasionally during the day. This allows you to switch groups depending on how you feel at the moment. After all, you should have time to enjoy the views too.

How fast do the three different groups run and jog?

We divide ourselves into three groups where Group 1 runs/jogs at a slightly faster pace. Group 2 jogs at a moderate level, and Group 3 combines jogging with brisk walking.

As what constitutes jogging and brisk walking is very individual, we try to adapt the groups as best we can and also encourage participants who are at the front to perhaps switch to a faster group and participants who want to take it a bit easier to switch to Group 3, which also incorporates brisk walking.

Can one switch groups?

When we set out, we divide into three groups. We meet at least once a day, which means you can switch groups if you want to move a bit faster or slow down the pace.

Which group suits me?

You’ll notice on-site, but we label the three groups as follows: 1: Running, 2: Jogging, and 3: Jogging + Fast Hiking.

For Group 3, you should be able to jog continuously for at least seven kilometers on a typical lit track or asphalt. We won’t jog such long distances without a break, but seven kilometers is still a good guideline given the terrain we’ll be in. But again, we’ll take several breaks to share tips and enjoy the views of the High Coast. We always have a leader at the front and a marshal at the back of each group.

How far do we run?

In the High Coast, the distances are not the determining factor as we also ascend to viewpoints. We adjust our tours according to weather conditions and participants in the three groups. The basic plan is Fri: 5-10 km, Sat: 8 – 16 km, Sun: 5-10 km.

How do I stay during the trail camp?

There are several accommodation options – from bringing your own tent to shared cabins or your own outdoor cabin. You choose the type of accommodation when you book.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Half of the participants usually come alone while the other half come with a partner or friend. It creates a really nice atmosphere.
